Waders that are lightweight, tough & reliable are harder to find than one would expect. While woven breathable fabrics offer a lightweight solution, often the reliability of breathable fabrics don't keep up with the anglers demands. In contrast, solid outer materials are often heavy and lack stretch which can lead to tearing.

The South Pacific COLDSTREAM waders utilise an advanced 2-ply combination fabric material comprising a woven breathable outer with a micro-thin PVC laminated inner. This advanced 2-ply system delivers a very strong comfortable lightweight wader with the reliability of a solid outer. Enhancing the comfort even further is a full micro-mesh lining !

Experienced anglers will appreciate the attention to detail that delivers a well designed wader that not only looks smart but more importantly, delivers reliability.

best I have worn

"The SP Coldstream chest waders I bought from A1flyfishing are the best I have worn since I commenced fly fishing 50 years ago. They are comfortable to wear and easy to get on and off because of the mesh 'inner shell' design. That also gives a breathability factor and less sweat irritation. The lightweight fabric 'upper' is really durable and I proved it while crashing through dense T-tree undergrowth on the Upper Murrumbidgee over a week of intense fishing last summer. They are similarly providing me with warm protection as I fish for Salmon and Taylor on surf beaches this winter. At a vertically challenged stature, I need the extra distance with my surf rod that is afforded by advancing out to chest depth! The waterproof chest pocket has been useful for carrying my i-phone and electronic car key. For such a quality product the price is amazingly reasonable. Look no further and buy from an Oz company!
