When we set about to develop a serious Trout fly rod series we wanted to utilise the most advanced rod building production available.

After years of trials and testing we entered into a joint venture with one of the worlds leading fly rod manufacturers responsible for producing the best in fly rods for some of the worlds biggest fly rod brands , now including South Pacific Fly Rods Australia.

Our design team produced the TR Trout series with a med-fast action that has plenty of reserve for longer casts while offering a sensitive tip for delicate presentation, resulting in a serious quality trout rod in a new generation 46T graphite composite. The TR's good looks is further enhanced with the best in componentry from PAC BAY® International USA. The TR range will have even the most discerning angler content with features such as non-glare matt blanks, smoke finish snake guides and large tip, TiCH #16 stripping guides, hook keeper, anodised aluminium up-lock impregnated wooden reel seats and AAA-grade cork handles. Each rod comes presented in a zip-top 600D covered rod tube with carry handle. When you come to fish your TR you'll experience a very smooth sensitive action and when that first fish goes into the net look closely .. he may even be smiling.

South Pacific TR Fly Rods are covered by Lifetime Warranty, applicable to defects in materials or workmanship to original owners.
