The stunning deep blue blanks are fitted out with the very best in componentry from PAC BAY International USA including triple anodised double uplock reel seats, AAA cork handles & EVA/cork butts, oversize smoke snake guides and tips utilising the new minima4 stripping guides. The STF's are 9ft long and available in 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10wt. The STF's track superbly and depend less on your energy and allow you to enjoy sensitive line feel transfer while delivering your fly accurately and quickly. South Pacific continue to design and produce leading fly fishing gear and their newest fly reel stands at the forefront of modern fly reel design. The Eclipse is an outstanding reel design that offers large capacity on a modern large arbor concept.

The Eclipse series is a fine example of where fly reels are heading built on the most advanced Teflon drag system available. Heavily ported machined aerospace aluminium frame and spool offering a super lightweight reel that runs as smooth as silk with silent retrieve and low-tone out going click. The Eclipse series align with modern fly reels built on preferred larger arbors currently moving toward a welcomed wider spool to accommodate maximum line capacity.

Enhancing the advanced design is a high quality triple anodising finish that delivers alternative colouring in either traditional semi-gloss all black reel or black frame with gun metal/gold edged spool. Machined aluminium capped handles in matching colours complement the spools. Internal Drag covers on both reels are anodised gold and the laser etched logos complete the stunning presentation. The 2 colour combinations come in 3 sizes and extra spools are available.

AwEsome Fly Rods

"Awesome hardcore fly rods. I was super impressed with my purchase in the quality of rods and saltwater components on them. I have the 10wt & 8wt combo and have just ordered the 6wt combo for a bit of fun. These rods are well designed and accurate well presented distance casting is a breeze.I have been using and abusing the 10wt to hunt Yellow-tail King-fish around the marker buoys in Auckland Harbour NZ. The rod is paired with the Eclipse reel which is of equal high quality. The Eclipse large arbor reel has a good sealed smooth drag system which is up to the challenge to handle the dirty King-fish fight.. The 10wt bends away nicely with an ample powerful lower section to add some powerful lift to bring King-fish into submission. The 8wt has dealt nicely to many Snapper and NZ Kawhai and is light enough to fish all-day. The best of all is that all this well designed quality comes at a price that does not break the bank.
